Nigel Rouse - Route du Vin Half Marathon 30th September 2007

On July 2nd we received an email from one Nigel Rouse, which read as follows:

Good evening Dragons for Breakfast, for some reason or another, beyond my own
comprehension, I have signed up to run the Luxembourg Route du Vin Half Marathon on
the 30th of September 2007. If you've seen me recently, you'll understand that this
will be quite a challenge for myself! Don't fret though, I ran 10km last Thursday,
have a sore ankle, drink Guinness, and most importantly... I believe! 89 days to go
and I promise Cliona has not brainwashed me.  To get to the point; I'd like to collect
sponsorship money from all of our good friends, acquaintances and colleagues for
"running" 21km and then I wish to donate it to Dragons for Breakfast towards
materials etc. and Let the Children Live.  I hope you accept my above request, so we
can let the sponsoring begin. Best regards, Nige

We have to admit, we are moved by this generous offer, and took him up on it before he had a chance to sober up!!

How can you help?

Well you could always join him!!!  Then again you could send him messages of encouragement, and promises of sponsorship.  There will be sponsorship forms strategically placed all our Luxembourg (mainly pubs) to make it easy to sponsor Nigel.

You can now even donate directly on-line via PayPal (you don't even have to have an account) by clicking the the button below, or by direct bank transfer to:

BCEE Account LU22 0019 2455 4458 6000 - Plahe Wheeler J/Dragons f.Breakfast.

Please clearly mark any donation, "Nigel Rouse - Half Marathon, Route du Vin 2007".

Of course don't forget to actually turn up on the day to cheer our hero on!!

The entire Dragons for Breakfast team would like to thank Nigel for this generous offer, and wish him all the best with his training.  Keep an eye on this web site for further developments and news on how Nigel is getting on.
